Hi there! Welcome to Citrine Studio! Let me tell you a bit about my story…

I’m a Pittsburgh native who made the move to Raleigh in 2018, and I’ve been behind the chair for 12 incredible years. My journey in the beauty industry has been a fulfilling one, filled with constant learning and growth. While I never imagined I would become a salon suite owner, after working in a busy 24-chair salon, I realized in 2023 that I was ready for a quieter, more intimate space. This change has allowed me to focus even more on my clients and provide a personalized experience, and I’ve absolutely loved every minute of it.

Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to learn from some incredibly talented artists. One of the highlights of my training was attending the Redken Exchange in New York for a three-day color class, where I honed my skills and deepened my passion for the craft. Over the years, I’ve continued to learn from both skilled artists and experienced Redken certified colorists, all which have help me bring the best of my abilities to every client I work with.

I’m particularly passionate about creating beautiful, natural-looking hair color that’s dimensional and current. I also enjoy corrective cutting, as it allows me to really get creative and make a difference for my clients. Ultimately, what I love most about my job is the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while helping people look and feel their absolute best.

When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll find me at the beach, on a hiking trail, reading a romance novel, or curled up with my Kitty Finley. If any of those things resonate with you, we’ll definitely have plenty to chat about!
